Ask:
- Are these insects confirmed as termites?
- Is activity live and should it remain undisturbed?
- Where did the insects or workings emerge?
- Is the product labelled for that exact use and location?
- Does application require access, equipment or expertise you do not have?
- Could applying it interfere with inspection or later treatment?
Always follow the current product label. Do not improvise concentrations, locations or application methods.
Why inspection comes first
The visible spot may be only one part of the activity. Construction, concealed access, moisture, previous treatment and surrounding property conditions all affect the decision. Retail treatment should not be treated as proof that the house is protected.
